oThe Business Development Director is responsible for promoting Qualcomms technologies and solutions for Auto (tier 1, 2, and Auto OEMs), including the opportunity for negotiating and matching customers needs and Qualcomm solution/product.
oThe Business Development Director shall develop and find the business opportunities from the new and existing customers by containing the value proposition in line with the company strategy and plan.
oThe successful candidate should well manage relationships with customers, including executive relationship which means you are a proactive self-starter able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and actually to lead customers to our direction . This position will also require understanding competitor and market trends to provide accurate forecast, and evaluate level of risks to identify new areas of opportunity for Qualcomm.
oThe successful candidate should lead communicating with management for strategy, status update and so on.
oBe an expert in Qualcomms product technologies and solutions for Auto, working with customers and internal stakeholders, not only in Japan but in overseas, to realize and hit the business goals proactively.
oWork with various internal team members such as product marketing, sales and customer engineering to identify and develop new business opportunities.
oBuild up strategic relationship with key partners at customers.
oCommunicate any business related updates/opportunity internally and lead setting and executing strategy for business win/close (business closing is clearly his/her responsibility)
oMonitor the market dynamics against goals and respond to changes in the market, such as the market price, competitions, and application trends.
oMonitor progress against goals and respond to changes in the market
o5+ years of Business Development experience with the AUTO industry and preferably working experience in IT industry.
oMust possess a strong knowledge of industry products and market intelligence
oExcellent organizational and planning skills
oStrong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Japanese.
oPreferred Electronical or Electrical Engineering background and experience in multinational company.
oPreferably working experience in overseas
o10+ years of AUTO customer interface experience managing multi-level accounts.
oOutstanding interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of employees & customers and to negotiate at a high level.
oAnticipates future trends and implications accurately, while creating competitive and breakthrough strategies that connect the vision and action.
oFamiliar with multi-cultural and multi-national background.
oProven success working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally in multinational companies.
oSelf-motivated & self-driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment to drive real-world solutions.
oStrong Influence with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
oAble to execute multi task at the same time
Requirements with Bachelor's degree.
