Job Overview

The Account manager is responsible for promoting Qualcomms mobile/compute/IoT technologies and developing an opportunity plan containing the value proposition for all of Qualcomms targeted line of mobile/compute/IoT solutions.

The successful candidate should well manage relationships with customers, which means you are a proactive self-starter able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position will also require understanding competitor and market trends to provide accurate forecast, and evaluate level of risks to identify new areas of opportunity for Qualcomm.

  • Be an expert in Qualcomms various products for mobile/compute/IoT devices working with customers and internal stakeholders to realize business goals in the market.

  • Work with product marketing/managements to identify new business opportunities and develop them.

  • Build up strategic relationship with key partners at customers.

  • Monitor the market dynamics against goals and respond to changes in the market, such as the market price, competitions, and application trends.

  • Identify and solve supply issues proactively and creatively through sales operations team.

  • Monitor progress against goals and respond to changes in the market

Minimum Qualifications

-5+ years of account management experience with the electronics industry, preferably in the wired/wireless industry.

-Must possess a strong knowledge of industry products and market intelligence

-Excellent organizational and planning skills

-Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Japanese.

-Operational knowledge working on supply chain management system

-Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel) skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of customer interface experience managing multi-level accounts.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of employees & customers and to negotiate at a high level.

  • Anticipates future trends and implications accurately, while creating competitive and breakthrough strategies that connect the vision and action.

  • Familiar with multi-cultural and multi-national background.

  • Proven success working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally in multinational companies.

  • Self-motivated & self-driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment to drive real-world solutions.

  • Strong Influence with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Preferred Electronical or Electrical Engineering background and experience in multinational company.

Education Requirements

Requirements Bachelor's degree and above.
