Qualcomms Advanced Content Group is seeking an experienced Developer Tools software engineer to join our team to create performance tools and optimization SDKs for Qualcomm chipsets, which today power over 2 billion consumer devices worldwide. You will work with pre-release and commercial hardware and software to develop and support software tools for customers, partners, and internal teams.

You will be expected to provide technical leadership and end-to-end ownership for various development activities. We are seeking a creative, self-motivated problem-solver with a passion for creating great products. The environment is fast-paced and requires cross-functional interaction with a wide array of teams.

Qualcomms Advanced Content Group creates showcase experiences that demonstrate the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors multimedia capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

5-7 years cross-platform C++ programming experience

Experience developing software optimization tools, APIs, or middleware

Knowledge of computer systems architecture and optimization

Experience designing and developing concurrent software systems

Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.

2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing software applications with C#

Experience developing and optimizing software applications and/or games for mobile, console, or embedded platforms

Graphics or GPU compute programming experience with OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, OpenCL, or DirectX

User interface design and development

Understanding of agile/lean software development practices

Knowledge of continuous integration, build, and deployment best practices

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
