S/W and Solutions FAE on the China team to assist Server SoC customers in solution optimization on the Qualcomm Centriq platform to drive design wins in the Edge Compute and Cloud segments.
-Assist customers through the development cycle; including evaluation, system architecture, design, validation, and mass deployment
-Resolve customers specific problem solving including issue replication and triage
-Run customer specific benchmarks some competitive performance of Qualcomm -based servers
-Drive software optimization of customer solution stack
-Identify and partner with critical ecosystem partners for successful customer deployment
-Build relationship with critical technical engineers and management to ensure successful project selection and deployment
-Help identify appropriate Edge applications/customer projects that can benefit from Qualcomm Centriq offering
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
3+ years experience with debugging techniques.
4+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Minimum 10 years experience in Telco and Cloud industries
Understands ARM architecture intimately and strengths and weaknesses relative to key applications in the Web, Database and Storage tier
Understands Linux well and hands-on experience at kernel level drivers and optimizations
ARM ecosystem and applications expertise
Understanding of competitive landscape
Communications strength in technical customer interactions
Ability to solve problems with an hands-on approach
BS in Engineering
