Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the world of mobile, edge, auto, and IOT products through machine learning hardware and software.

Summary
Qualcomm's Multimedia R&D and Standards Group is seeking passionate candidates for its Computer Vision team in Shanghai, China. The team develops advanced algorithms, architectures and systems for computer vision, graphics and machine learning application, enriching the embedded systems for Smartphone, XR, Automotive, PC, and IoT products.
The candidate will have responsibilities including but not limited to:
Design and implementation of Computer Vision / Graphics / Machine Learning applications
Development of concept proving demo on Qualcomm platform
Optimization of system performance to make the technology ready for commercialization
Minimal Qualifications:
Experience in Computer Vision / Graphics / Machine Learning related projects
Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant majors
Proficiency in C/C++ is a must.
Proficiency in cross-platform (Windows, Android, Linux, QNX) development is a must.
Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Python/Java/Kotlin/QT is a plus.
Experience on Unreal /Unity development is a plus
Experience of deep learning model design, pruning, compression, quantization and on-device deployment is a plus
Experience with Camera framework and sensor related image processing is a plus.
Experience with Qualcomm platform is a plus.
Experience with performance optimization with ARM/ DSP/GPU/NPU is a plus.
