Job Overview

NPI Product Engineer will be responsible for QCOM Wifi/BT IC development in product engineering area. Candidate should have a standing understanding of IC design flow, fab process and assembly related knowledge, IC qualification development and failure analysis method. An ideal NPI production engineer should also be a highly motivated and fast learner with strong problem-solving capability, a team player with good communication skills

The responsibilities of this role include:

NPI projects management, includes project schedule definition and control, project risk analysis and elimination, issue detection, highlight and solution finding, etc.

IC compliance table preparation and review with design and TE/BTE teams.

ATE test and characterization data analysis and review with design team.

IC qualification solution development, includes HTOL HW and pgm development, ESD/LU test solution definition, PKG QUAL related HW design.

Chip System level DPPM and SLT test development and failures analysis.

RMA chips analysis, includes IV curve check, failure root cause identification, FA plan definition and results review, etc.

Production pgm release and production sustaining support.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SOC, RF and mixed-signal design, DFT and test methodology.

Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacture, such as fab process, assembly.

Knowledge of different Failure Analysis methodology, such as FIB, CSAM, X-ray, etc.

Knowledge of RF and mixed-signal test parameters, such as P1dB, IP3, ACPR, NR, INL, DNL, SNR, THD, etc.

Knowledge of wireless communication protocol, such as Wifi, BT, GPS, etc.

Experience with RF, mixed signal and SOC test on Teradyne and 93K test platforms

Experience with HTOL HW and test pgm development, such as Incal, MCC, etc.

Experience with QUAL HW design, such as bHAST, ESD/LU HWs design, etc.

Experience with production pgm release, correlation and production management.

Experience with statistical analysis in semiconductor test development with different tools, such as Cp, CPK, and GR&R, Datapower, Sendana, etc.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
