Overview

For over 30 years, our inventions have inspired others to make the impossible, possible. Now, we’re inventing ways for 5G and Artificial Intelligence to change how business gets done, redefine industries and improve lives everywhere. We are looking for individuals to help find the inventors of tomorrow by connecting top engineering students to the opportunities of the future.

On Qualcomm’s Campus Recruiting team, we actively engage computer science and engineering students from across the globe to join in the creation of technologies that change the world. We are looking for team members to help support program management, full life cycle hiring, university recruitment, and specialized hiring events. You’ll get to work in the following areas:

University Relations - Build pipeline on campus by coordinating and facilitating on-campus recruiting events. From job fairs and events with key campus groups to meetings with faculty and hosting engagement activities, you’ll be responsible for making sure all plans run smoothly and the desired student demographic is being reached. Travel will be required to support these efforts (around 10-15% of your time), mainly occurring in the fall.

Student Engagement - Due to the large amount of competition among technical students, part of this role is selling/educating potential candidates on the benefits and rewards offered by our organization. This may include giving presentations to individuals and groups on campus, onboarding new interns and helping them navigate through the organization during the summer, or closing a new grad candidate with knowledge on benefits and potential project teams.

Full Life Cycle Recruiting - Partnering with your respective hiring teams to understand their technical requirements, you'll work to connect qualified students from our on-campus recruitment efforts. This includes managing your candidate pool, meeting with your hiring teams on a frequent basis, and keeping candidates warm while offers are extended. Once candidates are identified, you'll help manage portions of the pre-employment process in preparation for their onboarding.

Specialized Hiring Events - Our team hosts students on Qualcomm's campus for diversity conferences, new grad hiring events, and events with internal and external partners. These are often team based projects where you'll own various initiatives or lead the group in execution. Metrics and reporting play a key part.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong interpersonal and time management skills, and can work well under pressure. We are looking for individuals who have a passion and commitment to the advancement of inclusion and diversity.
