This job position is within the Multi-Device Experiences (MDE / Snapdragon Seamless) Product team in the WMSS organization. Our vision for Seamless is to unify the global wireless ecosystem and increase global device market share across our ecosystem. Our primary mission is to bring industry-first premium differentiated cross-manufacturer, multi-device experiences & solutions. Our secondary mission is to drive Q2Q differentiation where possible.

Snapdragon Seamless has products that have commercially launched over the past year, as well as new and upcoming products that are in the midst of Engineering development. Seamless is being commercialized by our OEM and OS partners across Mobile, PC, Hearables and Wearables today with plans to expand to XR, Auto and IoT shortly.

The Product Manager role requires the individual to work within a cross-functional team that includes stakeholders across device platforms, functional areas such as Chipset PdMs, Engineering, PgM, Regional teams etc., and across OEM and OS partners. The position requires experience in driving Engineering products from concept to end of life. Tasks include collaborating with key stakeholders on the Seamless strategy and roadmap, defining multi-device experiences and its associated assets, documenting product requirements, working across Engineering program teams to ensure timely delivery of Engineering deliverables, and driving the adoption and commercialization of the Seamless deliverables across our OEM and OS ecosystem toward Seamless’ overall vision and mission.

Job Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead the end-to-end product management of multi-device experience assets from concept to commercialization.

  • Drive the user experience flow for each Seamless experience.

  • Deliver demonstrable experiences that can be showcased at internal and external environments.

  • Work with the core team to develop end-to-end experience assets for each Seamless experience.

  • Work with our OEM & OS partners on their device and OS related assets that are needed to enable end-to-end Seamless experiences.

Additional responsibilities of this role include:

  • Understand and support the Seamless mission, vision, goals, and overall milestones for Qualcomm and for our ecosystem partners.

  • Participate in the development of an integrated multi-year product roadmap.

  • Participate in the refinement of the Seamless strategy, integrated roadmap planning, and implementation of the experience roadmap.

  • Participate in activities that involve driving industry adoption with customer engagements and related activities across OEMs and OS partners across 7 device platforms and 4 Operating Systems

  • Participate and support as needed in the execution of existing Engineering products in the pipeline for current and upcoming Software Platforms

  • Participate in product commercialization activities including maximizing design wins and working with OEMs globally to maximize adoption.

  • Cultivate new relationships across our OEM and OS partners, as well as across internal stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date on Qualcomm’s tech strategy and business models.

  • Proactively grow your knowledge base about Qualcomm technologies.

  • Product Management - The ability to define and execute on a comprehensive mission-anchored product/capability strategy from conception and definition through end of life.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.

• 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

• 3+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.

• 2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.

• 2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements.

Additional Work Requirements:

  • Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile, works remotely as per business need, and willing to travel as per business need, without impacting productivity

  • Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

  • Continuous communication which includes information-sharing with colleagues, customers, and partners both in person and remotely.

Pay range:

$171,000.00 - $256,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
