Qualcomm is actively seeking design and design management candidates for the low-power implementation team.Conduct thermal analysis for SoC, package and system design thermal optimization to maximize performance under thermal power envelope for various applications such as smart phones, IoT and Automotive.
Conduct thermal measurement to validate simulations.
Develop methodologies to enhance thermal simulations methods to address thermal challenges and applications.
Provide the recommendation for thermal material usage.
Create and present analytical and experimental results

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
Experience with thermal simulation methodologies and simulation tools such as ANSYS ICEPAK, Presto or FLOTHERM
Experience with measurement: IR camera, thermocouples
Experience with thermal material: Graphite sheet, thermal paste, TIM, heat pipe.
Experience in thermal simulations at SoC, package and system levels in Mobile industry is highly desired

Required: Master's, Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering
Preferred: Doctorate, Computer Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering
