Qualcomm's RFFE Engineering Business Unit is looking for a Senior Engineer in San Diego, CA.
The successful candidate will join the RFFE engineering team, working on state of the art power amplifiers and module solutions with systems engineers, design engineers, manufacturing engineers and manufacturing suppliers to produce best in class RF Front End Solutions.
The Project Lead is responsible for the successful launch of Qualcomms PAMiDs/MMPAs. This indiviual will manage schedules and inventory for the module assemblies including all piece parts, PA, Switch, LNA, laminate and filters.
Align schedules to internal and external customer needs
Use and maintain the MS Project and communicate to the project team and management
Focus on cost, schedule and reliability
Monitor risks/issues and be prepared with alternate plans
Resolve non-performance related issues & eliminate all surprises
Integrate with the design team and Sales Ops to allow them to execute on the project and customer goals
Focus on process efficiencies that can be applied across the RFEE module teams
Work closely with Local Proto Assembly Line, SATs, PTE and packaging/reliability teams to ensure on time high & yielding product

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
BSEE plus 2+ years industry experience or equivalent Project Management experience is preferred in the following areas:
RF Front End and hardware engineering
Presenting project information to engineering management
Microsoft Office Products, Including Excel and Project
Understanding of Module design cycle and risks associate throughout the process
Experience interacting with manufacturing team to resolve test and interface with Product teams to eliminate performance issues
Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
