Job Overview

Qualcomm's RFFE Engineering Business Unit is looking for a Project Manager in San Diego. The successful candidate will join the RFFE engineering team and work on delivering state of the art power amplifiers and module solutions with design engineers, manufacturing engineers and manufacturing suppliers to produce best in class RF Front End Solutions.

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful launch of Qualcomms PAMiDs/MMPAs. This individual will manage inventory for the module assemblies, including all piece parts, PA, Switch, LNA, laminate and filters. The candidate will Integrate with the Project Lead, Design Team and Sales Ops to allow them to execute on the project and customer goals. There will be a focus on process efficiencies that can be applied across the RFEE module teams. This position works closely with Local Proto Assembly Line, SATs, PTE and packaging/reliability teams to ensure on time high and yielding product.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field OR Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant work experience OR High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.

  • In addition, 2+ years Engineering project or program management experience or related work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years industry experience or equivalent Project Management experience is preferred in the following areas:

  • Project Planning

  • Microsoft Office Products, Including Excel and Project

  • Skills in macro and advanced functions of Excel

  • Experience interacting with manufacturing team to help manage deliverables

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field OR Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant work experience OR High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
