Qualcomm's Analog and Mixed-Signal Team (AMS) designs analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for timing/clocking and audio CODEC units for a variety of smart phones, smart books and other wireless consumer electronic devices. These designs include analog circuits and systems containing data converters (ADCs/DACs), timing circuits like Phase Lock Loops(PLLs), analog filters, HW DSP IPs such as decimation and interpolation filters, low drop out linear voltage regulators, precision references, comparators, Touch controller AFE and audio amplifiers.

Apply your analog/digital integrated circuit and HW DSP design and verification expertise to the development of mobile communication systems and wired peripherals. Circuits of interest are: ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Sigma-Delta Modulators, continuous time and switched-cap filters, Audio class D/G/H amplifiers, voltage regulators and precision references, HW DSP digital IPs such as multi-rate decimation and interpolation filters. Low voltage and low power CMOS design techniques in nanometer technologies are emphasized. Candidate is also expected to perform analog and mixed-signal modeling and verification tasks, both at IP and chip level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

  • 8+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

  • 2+ years experience with architecture and design tools.

  • 2+ years experience with scripting tools and programming languages.

  • 2+ years experience with design verification methods.

  • 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
