The Application Processor Technologies group focuses on wireless and multimedia technologies for software products across mobile, computing and IoT markets. The Software Program Manager will be responsible for program management leadership in planning and execution across multiple technology areas, drive execution to OS strategy and interface with external OS partners. The scope includes kernel, OS middleware and frameworks, and execution across multimedia and High Level OS.
Key responsibilities and skill-sets include:
Drive and deliver overall program alignment and execution across multiple technologies
Drive requirements scoping, analysis and planning including interdependencies, staffing constraints and schedule optimization across multiple tech teams
Establish clear Plan Of Record commitment and drive prioritization
Establish rigorous execution discipline & communications process: risk management, mitigation, tracking, schedule trends vs baseline, recovery actions, executive reporting
Develop program indicators to manage program health including quality and timelines
Partner with various functional areas to establish critical processes for disciplined product development and decision making and to ensure quality. Coordination across multiple development sites may be required
Develop and establish strong processes that streamline the development cycle and integrate multiple plans, dependencies and deliverables effectively
Must be articulate, effectively multi-task, stay on top of all aspects of program, partner with all stakeholders, and have a good technical understanding of the program
Must be able to communicate effectively key messages to stake holders with respect to program level risks, mitigation plan, and executive status
Must be able to manage expectation from customer interface, effectively channel the customer requirement to internal development teams and drive consensus on development schedule, plan, and processes.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years Program Management or related work experience.
1+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.
Experience in Wireless Industry
Effective leadership and communication skill (verbal and written)
Experience managing SW products through entire SW development life cycle, including risk management
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master's, Business Administration and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
