Job Overview

Qualcomm Graphics PSE team is a part of the Graphics System team and is responsible for the overall quality of the Graphics IP in silicon. As a member of our Graphics PSE team, you will be working closely with architects, designers, verification and software engineers to help validate the next generation graphics core for mobile devices. We are currently seeking self-motivated engineers at all levels who will perform device level and system level verification, validation and debug, both in emulation and in post-Silicon.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 2+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ yrs of related experience in VI(Validation and Integration) in one or more of below skills :

  • ARM System-On-Chip Pre-Silicon emulation and Post-Silicon ASIC Validation experience related to board bring-up and debug.

  • Working experience related to the following is required.

  • Lauterbach Trace32 environment.

  • Embedded software development of low level hardware drivers in C language.

  • Test equipment like Logic analyzer, Oscilloscope and Protocol analyzers.

  • Debugging low level software and hardware issues

  • GPU and SoC architectures

  • GPU APIs (Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenCL/) is a big plus

  • Understanding of power, performance and thermal

  • Experience programming in C

  • Test automation, Scripting in Python/Perl is a plus

  • Validation and debug of mixed-signal IP

  • Experience with at least one of: Perl, Python

  • Familiarity with low power design concepts

  • Understanding of Verilog/System Verilog is a plus

  • Familiarity with ARM Coresight IP is desirable

  • Familiarity with DFT/DFD

  • Familiarity with RMA process

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
