Job Overview

Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, a.k.a. QCT - http://www.qualcomm.com/qct/, is the world leader in wireless ICs powering the majority of 3G & 4G devices, and is the largest fabless semiconductor in the world. The PHY systems team is looking for post silicon validation/test & characterization engineers to support silicon bringup effort for Automotive products.

The successful candidate will be performing hands-on HW debug/analysis. The person in this position will work very closely with the hardware design teams and validation teams (firmware, product test & software) to successfully deploy the PHY design to end-product with automotive quality. Familiarity with DDR/LPDDR memory and/or high-speed SerDES IO standards is highly desirable.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

5 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Basic of digital logic design concepts

  • Hands-on lab debug experience

  • 3+ years of experience with C/C++ coding

  • 3+ years of experience with LPDDR validation

  • VLSI Mixed-signal design & circuit understanding

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
