Job Overview

  • Qualcomm's Corporate IT organization seeks a candidate with expertise in Windows System Management and Imaging solutions.

  • This position will reside in a team that provides Enterprise technologies and solutions to the entire organization.

  • The Windows Image Administrator is responsible for building, managing and troubleshooting Windows images and administering the SCCM OSD environment and Task Sequences for the Enterprise and Business Unit hardware globally.

  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter working with minimal supervision, adaptable, great communicator, results driven, and have a desire to investigate and implement solutions for a large, multi-faceted, Fortune 500 company.The job will involve exposure to:

  • SCCM, OSD and client hardware devices.

  • SCCM/OSD administration and support.

  • SCCM, OSD, MDT and physical hardware management

  • Excellent teamwork, time-management and organizational skills.

  • Intermediate scripting skills required.

  • On-call availability to independently monitor requests after-hours/weekends.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Creation of Windows Images, OSD Task Sequences and managing Hardware devices and driver packages in the SCCM environment.

  • Scripting with Powershell and VBScript

  • SCCM client problem as well as Hardware diagnosis and resolution.

  • Liaison with the business units for specific Windows OS needs, deployments and, troubleshooting of new image releases and also evaluate new Windows devices.

  • Prioritize and execute tasks in a time-sensitive environment.

  • Conduct research and resolve tickets from the end user community for mobile device issues and new products.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years IT-relevant work experience OR 5+ years IT-relevant work experience without a bachelors degree.
