Job Overview

Understand the issues raised by customers in PHY area and FAPI interface and provide the solutions on time.

Understand the new features and support the customers by assisting them in integrating the PHY with the L2/L3 stack.

Understand the PHY code and it's interfaces with L2/L3 and should be able to reproduce the issues internally.

Work with test teams to explain implementation and troubleshoot issues.

Be able to function both independently as well as function as part of a larger team.

Adhere to all development standards, processes, and procedures, including configuration management.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

2+ years experience with debugging techniques.

2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of experience in design, develop and integrate PHY layer, embedded software in a multi-threaded environment.

Experience working in LTE small cells or eNodeB product especially in PHY Layer design, development and customer support with good understanding of 3gpp specs related to L1 and L2.

1.Experience in design, development and high level overview of LTE PHY in small-cells or eNodeB.

2.Hands on experience in embedded system development in eNodeB PHY and FAPI interface.

3.Experience in debugging the PHY layer issues and proposing the solutions and fixing them independently.

4.Experience in handling the customer queries/concerns related to PHY and FAPI interface.

5.Hands on experience with the tools like signal generator/signal analyzer for reproducing the issues internally.

6.Good understanding of 3gpp specs related to L1 and L2.

7.Knowledge about DSP/Baseband hardware and RF is added plus.

8.Strong programming fundamentals C/C++.
