Job Overview

-Candidate will be responsible for Leading CNSS build integration and automation team based in QIPL, part of global integration team

-Manage Build and Integration team by providing mentorship, direction & quality feedback. Build and sustain (hire and performance manage) a strong B&I team.

-Primary area of contribution are following

oSoftware configuration management, release and code flow control, build environment and distribution system, automation of all related tasks, reports and dashboards.

oOwn and lead the design and implementation of software configuration management tools and workflow involving Git/Gerri/Perforce/Code collaborator

oIntegration of CNSS workflow with organizational workflow and tools for efficient build, release and delivery management.

oIdentify opportunities to improve and optimize workflow and turn-around times for builds while maintaining/improving quality metrics

oMaintenance and coordination automation infrastructure required to support the integration workflow.

oImplementation and alignment of the process and workflow with the global and cross functional integration teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

5+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.

2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

-Strong programming skills with scripting languages like Python, perl, eCommander etc.

-End to end understanding of software development methodologies and experience in various toolchains used in build automation, version control, testing and code quality tracking.

-Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery

-Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills to work with cross functional and cross geo teams.

-Knowledge of static analysis tools

Good to have:

-Hands on working knowledge of WLAN, Bluetooth and networking domains is a big plus.

-Working experience in Qualcomm build and integration processes and tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelors or Masters in engineering from a Top Engineering College.
