Job Overview

  • Qualcomm's Corporate IT organization seeks a candidate with AirWatch MDM and Mobile Management exposure.

  • This position will reside in a team that provides Enterprise technologies and solutions to the entire Organization.

  • The MDM Administrator is responsible for system architecture, tracking, and troubleshooting mobile devices and administering the AirWatch cloud environment for our business units.

  • Also ensure that all mobile devices and activations are in compliance with Clients policies and procedures.

  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter working with minimal supervision, adaptable, great communicator, results driven, and have a desire to investigate and implement solutions for a large, multi-faceted, Fortune 500 company.The job will involve exposure to:

  • AirWatch on mobile devices. AirWatch Professional / equivalent MDM Certification & Microsoft Office 365 MCSA certification would be preferred.

  • Managing iOS and Android devices

  • Intermediate Microsoft SQL and PowerShell scripting.

  • On-call availablity to independently monitor requests after-hours/weekends.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Tracking of device inventory in the MDM cloud environment and performing audits of the AirWatch system.

  • Mobile, e-mail and on-site problem diagnosis and resolution.

  • Systems Administration of the MDM AirWatch cloud.

  • Administering and maintaining of the AirWatch Installation and configuration systems and knowledge telecommunication systems.

  • Enforcing mobile device policies and procedures in the MDM AirWatch environment.

  • Liaison with Messaging and Infra Teams for installations, deployments and, troubleshooting of new AirWatch releases and also evaluate new OS mobile device releases for IOS, Android, and Windows.

  • Prioritizing and executing tasks in a time-sensitive environment.

  • Conducting research and resolve tickets from the end user community for mobile device issues and new products.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) OR Bachelors degree in a non-technical field (e.g. Business, Humanities, Marketing) and 1+ years IT-relevant experience OR High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years IT-relevant experience.
