Fingerprint sensors are a hot item in mobile platforms. Qualcomms unique ultrasound-based sensors are capable of generating an accurate 3D fingerprint image allowing for high-quality matching and Liveness detection. In addition, the ultrasonic sensor can be placed underneath different materials, such as metal, glass, and the entire display allowing for an elegant industrial design. Qualcomm Israel Fingerprint team is looking for a creative and motivated QA technician with excellent execution and organization skills.
The candidate will join our teams located in Haifa and Hod-Hasharon offices. The team is responsible for the research, development and commercialization of strategic functionality within Qualcomms unique Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
Ensure high quality for the SW and algorithms developed by the engineering teams
Responsible for lab and test equipment maintenance
Responsible for performing fingerprint database collections in various conditions to assist the engineering teams
Practical engineering certificate
Hands-on experience with lab and test equipment
Experience with programming scripts or languages is a plus
Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Location: Qualcomm Israel, Hod Hasharon
