Job Overview

We are looking for bright ASIC design engineers with excellent analytical and technical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast paced team responsible for delivering Snapdragon CPU design, flows for high performance SoCs in sub-10nm process for mobile space.

  • Work with cross-functional teams on CPU Power

  • Participate on a project involved in the development of Asics, with emphasis in power analysis.

  • Responsible of Power vector plan and definition

  • Simulate power vector and run power analysis on RTL and Netlist

  • Work closely with RTL design, DV, physical design, low power and automation teams to measure and optimize power

  • Evaluate and propose new power optimization techniques

  • Tabulate metrics results for analysis comparison

  • Work with Post-Silicon team to correlate pre and post-silicon power measurement

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Power analysis and reduction using Primetime PX, PowerArtist is required

  • Experience with low power implementation techniques

  • Dynamic clock and voltage scaling Power analysis (Leakage and dynamic)

  • Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog coding, verification techniques, and scripting language, such as: Perl, Python, Tcl, and Make etc

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Low power intent concepts and languages (UPF or CPF)

  • Post-Silicon power measurement

  • Experience with CPU micro-architecture and their power challenges

  • Experience in Thermal analysis

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
