Job function / Responsibilities

Engineer will be part of Performance team and will have opportunity to work in WIFI7 and advanced Wifi Features.

• Responsible to validate router performance in various configurations and environments (cabled , OTA or interference level testing)

• Need to coordinate efforts with other internal teams (HW/FW/SW) to align with project timelines.

• Work with existing QCOM automation environment and add additional scripts to improve testability as needed.

• Debug and support internal customers to understand various functionalities and features of the product.

Preferred skills/experience

4 yrs. of industry experience in validating communication systems, preferably in WLAN technology.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach/debug wifi performance related issues.

• Should have basic knowledge on handling RF/Digital measurement equipment like SA, VNA, VSA , Oscilloscopes , power meters .

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Perl/Python) to support automation .

• Good presentation/documenting skills to publish the data.

• Possesing RF/ Digital board level knowledge will be an added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
