We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Program Manager, Associate to join our Chipset Program Management team working on ultra-low power Voice and Music chips. The person should be keen to learn and develop a successful career within a fast moving innovative technological environment.

The Program Manager, Associate plays a key role in the Program Management of Qualcomms Chip Products, actively managing the development process and the Program dependencies from requirements capture, planning and resource estimation through to design, implementation, Product hardening and eventual commercial release.

The Program Manager, Associate is authorised to run and be accountable for all aspects of a product development program, from product specification to mass production. The Program Manager, Associate is the owner of the product specification and budget and uses the companys resources to ensure that the program is delivered to specification, on time and on budget. Success in this role means delivering results through effective leadership of multi-disciplined technical teams whilst maintaining regular communication with the various stakeholders.

Based in our Cambridge office you will join our Program Management team in bringing the next generation of voice and music chips to the market. You will join an established group of Program Managers and will benefit from comprehensive training and development will be provided which will include mentoring, on the job training, technical and soft skills training as appropriate.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a keen desire to learn, a proactive and enquiring attitude and excellent problem solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Degree Qualified with an understanding of the semiconductor industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management of remote teams

  • Recognised program management qualification (e.g. PMP, APM, PRINCE2)

  • Specific knowledge of RF, digital or software design of wireless or embedded systems

  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes

Education Requirements

Degree level engineering (or related discipline) qualification
