As a software engineering intern, you will work with a team of software engineers to develop, implement and maintain software for the most complex wireless devices within the Mobile, IoT, and Automotive industry. With a degree in computer science or engineering, you may be placed in a position anywhere on the Software Development Life Cycle of one of Qualcomm numerous wireless software technologies. Skills/Experience: Relevant skills include embedded systems, C/C++, experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl and experience with Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel, Mobile SW development in Windows Mobile, Android, design patterns, wireless network protocols such as TCP/IP, SIP, and familiarity with real-time operating systems.
- In study for a Bachelor of Science or Master's of Science in a information science, computing, or electronic engineering degree program.
-Must have academic project experience or 1+ year industry experience in at least one of the following areas:
-Knowledge of embedded systems
-Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl
-Experience with Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel, Mobile SW development
-Enrolled in a Top Tier Engineering University.
-3.5 GPA or higher.
Studying towards Bachelors, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
