Our engineering projects cover a wide span, including wireless modem and multimedia software, DSP and embedded applications.
Minimum Qualifications The position involves leading a team of 4-6 engineers working in Qualcomm's Multimedia Software group. The candidate would work with product teams, customer teams as well core systems teams in design and delivery of software components.
Skills / Experience
Strong embedded systems software development experience with a sound understanding of real time operating system concepts, hands on experience in the design and delivery of software components for real time systems.
Hands on experience in working with and leading small and focused technical teams in the design and delivery of software components.
The candidate must be proficient in /C++ programming with 8 to 12 years of industry experience in embedded systems programming.
Knowledge and experience in development / integration of Multimedia software components / video, audio, camera sensor, GPU, drivers.
Good understanding of RTOS concepts , data structures, multi-threaded / multi-tasking programming and software development life cycle.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the Android or Windows Phone Middleware a plus.
Exposure to Digital Design methodology for Multimedia cores is a plus.
Education Requirements Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science
