Job Overview Qualcomm designs the most leading edge RFICs using the most advanced process nodes and in the IoT business unit we specialize in highly integrated low-power transceivers for connectivity, audio and IoT markets. We are seeking an RFIC design engineer with experience in low-power PLL architectures and design.
Experience with all phases of the design process including architecture specification, design, verification, layout, post-layout verification and validation.
Experience designing CMOS RF front-end transceivers with special emphasis on PLLs including VCOs, active filters and all associated circuitry.
Knowledge of Bluetooth (BT) and various Narrow-band IoT architectures is a plus.
Skilled with design automation tools
Front-end transceiver design of next generation, low-power connectivity RF Integrated Circuits using novel approaches to provide market leading performance. As the member of the analog design team, you will work closely with systems and digital designers as well as layout designers to deliver a complete and verified system using the latest design automation tools and the most advanced process nodes (40nm,28nm,22nm). You will also work with validation and operations teams to assure that designs meet all performance and quality requirements. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years designing CMOS PLL circuits (VCOs, active filters, multi-modulus dividers, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications RF/Analog design expertise in sub-65nm CMOS
Experience with RF AGC design and low-power RF design
Education Requirements Required: Master's, Electrical Engineering
