Job Overview The Bench Test/Char Team is responsible for developing/Characterizing solutions for design validation, functional verification, and device characterization of Qualcomms Mixed Signal devices/SoCs. In this team, individuals will be working on software and hardware design, test methodology development, instrument integration, IC bring-up, PVT Characterization, debug, and experimentation. Individuals will work closely with a variety of teams including IC Design, Systems, ATE Engineering and SIM, Product Development Engineering, and Program Management.

Minimum Qualifications These positions range from entry to senior level, although most do not include functional management responsibilities. The technical disciplines and skills available on this team are:

Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, test methodology and software development using Labview.

Working knowledge of analog and mixed signal IPs (ie ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs).

Capable of understanding and developing LabVIEW test software.

Able to work with common test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, data analyzer, logic analyzer, network analyzer, PXI instrumentation, AWG, digitizer, source measurement unit, etc).

Knowledge in test hardware design for mixed-signal, RF, or power application including schematic capture and layout.

Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly.

Preferred Qualifications oMaster's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
