Overview Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Business Development a Director or Sr. Director to join our team in Seoul, Korea. You will be responsible for Carriers contact/relationship, Business Development, and Technical Marketing and contributing for Qualcomm revenue growth coming from compliant OEMs, Private Brands and ODMs.
Promote Qualcomm technology roadmap to carriers, OEMs, ODMs and Private Brands to grow demand for smartphones, devices, wireless connection for various industry equipment and services.
Understand and interpret requirements / trends from the carriers and customers and provide clear direction of the development of new businesses for the company.
Work with Corp R&D, Technical marketing, and engineering teams within global Qualcomm offices to ensure that customer needs are met.
Develop and demonstrate Qualcomm's differentiation with a targeted technical marketing plan.
Point of Contact for a key carrier customers in Korea.
Actively manage and maintain relationship with key people in the customer carriers for QC technologies marketing and joint business development with carrier.
Work closely with the relevant teams in Qualcomm to coordinate technical support and technical training for current and potential customers.
Work closely with Qualcomm Technology Licensing teams to promote and protect Qualcomm business model and provide technical benefits and assistance to Qualcomm licensing customer companies.
Provide regular reports in a timely manner, including weekly activity report, monthly reports, visit reports, and other reports
Successful track record in complex technical and business environments and experience in the mobile communications industry.
International background and experience in working within global organizations.
Superior intellectual capability and be a creative and proactive problem solver, demonstrated by a record of success in handling a range of intellectually challenging experiences.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with a proven track record of effectively building customer relationships.

IP (Intellectual Property) experience a big plus.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in a similar role in wireless technology companies
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Science, Engineering (preferred) or Business Administration. Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration a plus.
