Job Overview The position is for a customer engineering role. The individual will support customers to integrate QCA products into their platforms and support them from design phase to mass production. They will be interacting with marketing teams, product managers, and engineering teams to help resolve customer issues. As a technical member of the team, the candidate needs to ensure successful integration of connectivity products into mobility, consumer electronics products. This role establishes the person as the technical expert for the wireless product lines. Must have high technical competence and be able to provide in-depth wlan technical responses to customers and to the company's field application engineers during the pre-sales process. Once engaged with a customer, must be able to map out the technical details from project start through mass production. Will work closely with worldwide development engineering, the program management team, software application engineers and field application engineers in overseas offices.

Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of industry experience in the following:

  • Have excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills that can be applied to resolve

  • Have Demonstrated initiative to drive issues to completion and across functional departments over worldwide

  • Have Strong IEEE 802.11 knowledge and comfortable with protocol network analyzer tool - OmniPeek, Wireshark

  • Have Strong communication skills with ability to evaluate and create documentation detailing WLAN features

  • Should be able to work in aggressive, high pressure environment.

  • Ability of travel or customer site visits as on demand are necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Design / development experience of Network/ WLAN device driver or firmware on Linux kernel or Android

  • Experience in driver development for Host IO interfaces like USB / SDIO / PCIE

  • Working knowledge of WLAN 802.11 standards

  • "Can-Do" attitude and comfort with multitasking and handling conflicting priorities

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
