Job Overview The role will have the responsibility for leading all marketing efforts and driving the development and execution of strategic marketing plans and brand creation.

This role will ensure the organizations message is distributed across multiple channels and to targeted audiences to meet sales objectives and augment and further develop the Qualcomm Life brand. Partner with other functions including especially Sales and Product Management. Arm sales with tools to sell todays available solutions and tomorrows solutions-in-progress that our customers will need to prepare for.

The successful candidate must: have Healthcare IT and/or Medical Device experience, be a strong leader who can leverage and motivate a global team, be a hard-working team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, who knows and can apply best practice frameworks, processes and methods. The candidate will need experience managing across a continuum of marketing tools, including sales training (including white-boarding), behavioral and persona segmentation, trade shows, mobile platforms, video and social media.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct all marketing activities across a global business to deliver on aligned marketing goals and objectives for company growth

  • Develop global commercialization strategy for growing portfolio to support sales and operational goals

  • Assess new opportunities, develop multi-year strategic marketing plans, understand competitive landscape

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales to define product opportunities and requirements

  • Lead efforts to gain an in-depth understanding of the market potential and the drivers and barriers for product opportunities through market research

  • Plan presence at trade shows, medical, health and fitness meetings/conferences, and other related events

  • Partner with sales to assess and build global distribution models and create multi-generational and multi-dimensional programs and tools

  • Research and distill market analytics and partner with Product Management regarding market sizing

  • Drive relationship development with all players in the market ecosystem

  • Key partner in planning and development of key executive presentations, strategy updates and initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years in senior leadership of marketing in Healthcare IT and/or Medical device

  • 10+ years leading a global team

  • Experience targeting audiences to meet sales objectives by seeking out new ways to deliver messaging such as mobile platforms, video and social media

  • Experience with HIPAA, legal and FDA regulations in Healthcare IT or Medical device industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience solving ambiguous problems - ability to operate both strategically and tactically translating complex problems into solutions

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills required

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure

  • Approximately 25% travel required

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Marketing or other related Business degree

Preferred: MBA
