Job Overview Qualcomm's Automotive RF Systems team is in search of senior industry professionals to develop radio systems for telematic applications (5G, LTE, TD-SCDMA, UMTS, GSM, CV2X) from concept phase to reference design. You will be responsible for board design process including schematic capture, PCB stack up, PCB layout, BOM management and bring-up, design verification testing of the board. You will drive system level architecture working closely with other teams and spreadsheet analysis for link budget like TX, RX and co-existence. Candidate must be comfortable presenting to technical audiences and able to write technical reports.

Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of industry experience, and demonstrated experience in the following subjects:

  • Board design process including schematic capture, PCB stack-up and layout

  • Board and system level debug

  • Call Box (LTE, WCDMA, GSM, TDSCDMA) and RF test equipment like SA, NA, etc.

  • RF matching: Smith Chart

  • Development of wireless technology like LTE, WCDMA, GSM, TDSCDMA

  • Wireless technology theory and operation (LTE, WCDMA, GSM, TDSCDMA)

  • Front end architecture design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with Qualcomm development tool like QRCT, QPST and QXDM

  • Co-existence management across multiple technologies.

  • Experienced Front end architecture design

  • Knowledge of 3GPP standards

  • Experience about connectivity HW like WiLAN, BT.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • high-speed digital design, baseband and analog design, signal integrity analysis and simulation.

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
