Job Overview Qualcomm's Advanced Content Group is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Developer Engagements team where you will create compelling experiences with Qualcomm chipsets, which today power over 2 billion consumer devices worldwide.

You will work directly with leading game developers from around the world to help enhance and optimize their cutting-edge games and applications for the Snapdragon platform. You will be expected to provide technical leadership and end-to-end ownership for various partner engagements and development activities.

We are seeking a creative, self-motivated problem-solver with a passion for 3D graphics and a strong desire to work on the forefront of mobile gaming technology. The environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and requires cross-functional interaction with a wide array of both internal and external teams.

Minimum Qualifications 7+ years in the following areas required:

  • Experience with C/C++ Experience with Android OS and Android application development

  • Experience with 3D graphics related mathematics

  • Experience with OpenGL, OpenGL ES, or Vulkan

  • Experience developing, profiling, and optimizing modern rendering algorithms

  • Experience with modern PC, console, and mobile game engine rendering pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using low-level graphics APIs such as Vulkan or DirectX 12

  • Experience with Unity 3D, Unreal Engine 4, or other major game middleware

  • Familiarity with 3D graphics profilers and debuggers such as Snapdragon Profiler, RenderDoc, Pix or similar

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to travel both domestic and internationally

  • Self-motivated

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
