Job Overview Customer Engineering (CE) team helps customers with the design specific customizations in boot, power/performance and stability, and support launch of products right from concept design to commercialization. As a member of Qualcomms Modem SW Customer Engineering group, candidate will be responsible for supporting latest technological features in LTE. Job responsibilities include system level expertise in LTE, In-depth technical root cause analysis on failures seen in wireless environments, and experimental testing to improve the quality of Qualcomms ASIC products. Candidate will be working with a multi-discipline internal teams including Product management, Software development, System design, Software Test and target teams to integrate and commercialize Qualcomms products.
Minimum Qualifications 2 to 6 years of industry experience in the following:
C/C++/Perl/Python programming on embedded real-time operating systems
Technical expertise in wireless communications and systems
Knowledge on CDMA/UMTS/LTE/5G protocols
Software debugging skills on embedded real time operating systems
Demonstrate expertise with tools and techniques used in embedded real time operation systems (JTAG etc.,)
The candidate is expected to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation, the ability to learn quickly, and must be a self-starter
Previous experience on modem protocol development areas is strongly desired
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
