Job Overview This role involves Software Product Quality support of large product teams across multiple organizations towards successfully on-time product launch. The candidate is expected to work with Software Program Management and software engineering teams to drive towards quality goals and to ensure the product achieves release criteria. This may involve generating metrics, prediction analysis, identify and highlight potential risks, understanding internal tools and processes, define / modify quality criteria, etc. This role also involves working with department leads to drive quality programs / process improvements within each organizations. Exemplary leadership qualities are needed to drive teams towards process efficiency and productivity. Activity includes conducting Root Cause Analysis, facilitating teams with corrective & preventive actions, conduct audits and present results to management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in software development

  • 3 years experience in quality engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six sigma green or black belt

  • Fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles and methods

  • Familiarization with ISO9001, CMMI, TQM, ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE

  • Qlikview or Tableau

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
