Job Overview The Product Manager will be responsible for growing Qualcomms Mixed-Signal Audio products and managing product lifecycle across Mobile and IOT markets. Working closely with engineering, sales and product marketing, the product manager will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and managing product releases to meet overall business strategy and goals. This position requires a team player that can coordinate with other product managers to create complete product families, and lead collaborative efforts across functions including marketing, engineering, research and platform groups.
Your responsibilities will include the definition, development, management, sustaining and execution of advanced Mixed-signal Audio products throughout the product lifecycle. You will work closely with Qualcomm MSM Platform teams, Engineering and other stakeholders to create innovative and best-in-class products. You will own the product requirements document, manage product development to meet feature, schedule and margin targets and will be responsible for the product, or product line, and updates during its time in-market.
Essential Job Functions
Manage the core features of Mixed-signal Audio product lines through the entire product life cycle (definition, development, management, delivery and end of life for products) from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Be responsible for day-to-day product management tasks such as identifying and defining new product features and enhancements; clarifying the product requirements and customer need; and scheduling product updates or updating the individual product roadmap.
Define the detailed product requirements and own the Product Requirements Document (PRD). Be responsible for PRD, the Go-To-Market schedule, margin and cost targets. Maintain PRD with prioritized features and corresponding justification. Ensure products to customer that exceed market requirements.
Be accountable for program milestones, schedules, deliverables in conjunction with Program Management team
Create and maintain a collaborative team relationship with all groups in the Audio Technology team; ensure that Product Development efforts are a shared responsibility of a whole company-wide product team.
Support Marketing, and Sales as required, with detailed product information, product training, product meetings with customers, customer support, industry presentations, analyst questions, and ongoing support of the product in the field.
Work with account owners, meet with customers, partners and other 3rd parties with a product focus.
Work collaboratively with Audio Systems team to specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospects.

Minimum Qualifications 3+ years in the following areas required:
Experience in product management driving the definition, development, and delivery of products in Mobile/ Consumer Electronics industry.
Experience defining and launching multiple products into market.
Experience in managing across the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept to end-of-life.
Experience with on-chip data converters and on-chip audio amplifiers.
Experience with audio signal processing algorithms
Experience with development or application engineering in a job in mixed-signal system-on-chip platforms containing integrated audio ADC, DAC, and digital signal processors
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, both functionally and geographically.
Ability to bring consensus to planning and product development initiatives
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Ability to execute many things at once by being an active contributor to operational tasks
Effective problem solving and analytical skills
Effective verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel domestically and overseas. International travel and work experience desirable.
Education Requirements Bachelors degree required in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related fields
Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) or equivalent experience desirable
