Job Overview This is an exciting opportunity to define the future of connected IoT.

As a member of the cellular IoT product management team at Qualcomm, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Contribute to the definition of the roadmap of Cellular IOT portfolio with specific focus on chipset services

  • Be the main product management point of contact for IoT System Integrators and Service Providers

  • Create the demand for advanced IOT chipset functionality at Service Providers and System IntegratorsAs a key contributor within a team of fast moving technology innovators, you will play a vital role as you engage with industry technology partners and top tier customers to define new products and promote existing ones. Therefore, customer-facing experience along with an ability to clearly articulate and document product requirements to a wide range of audiences from engineers to executives is essential. You must be able to multitask and be open to frequent domestic and occasional international travel.

Minimum Qualifications 7+ years in the following areas required:

  • Experience as a Product Manager responsible for a specific product or product line

  • Experience defining and shipping Cloud based products

  • IoT cloud technology: MQTT, certificate based authentication and PKI infrastructures, Cloud Computing and/or Machine Learning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Industrial IoT ecosystem players, e.g. System Integrators

  • Knowledge of IoT wireless technologies, e.g. Cat-M1, NB-IOT

  • Comfort with ambiguity in an evolving, fast- paced work environment

  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills

  • Effective leadership skills

  • Ability to prioritize essential tasks while being detailed focused

  • Ability to work independently while having effective problem solving skills

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science

Preferred: Master's, Business Administration and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
