Job Overview The Power management and Mixed Signal IC product Development and Test Engineering group is responsible for new product introduction and primary contact for mass production for highly programmable and high efficiency power management and mixed signal audio codec IC's developed by QCT, include interface PMIC, core PMIC, clock generation and management, battery charging and fuel gauging circuits, audit codec and amplifiers, and various digital interface standards. Product Engineer job responsibilities include developing product verification and test plan with design and test team, Silicon verification and characterization, bench testing and automation development and device issue debug, data analysis for device performance and function compliance, developing device qualification solution, and driving test cost and yield enhancement.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience/knowledge in the following areas REQUIRED:
Electrical engineering concepts and circuit solving: power management, mixed signal and digital power management and mixed signal measurements (ie line/load regulation, PSRR, transition time, regulator efficiency, jitter, phase noise, gain, SNDR, THD).
Experience with common test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, audio measurement equipment).
Experience with presenting product and test data driven decisions to create effective and efficient product development.
Knowledge of Teradyne Integra-Flex or Ultra-Flex test systems.
Knowledge of cellular standards.
Experience with CMOS fabrication process.
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. O+, DataPower, etc.).
More than 3 years industry experience on Silicon verification and characterization with analog, power management or mixed signal ICs.
Industry experience with NI bench test environment, integrated IC device development with battery charger and switching regulators.
Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly.
Ability to lead cross function team (if experienced).
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
