Job Overview Qualcomm Graphics PSE team is a part of the Graphics Systems team and is responsible for the overall quality of the Graphics IP in silicon. In the PE role, you will be working closely with chipset, architecture, design, verification, software and production teams from GPU tape out to SOD(silicon-On-Dock), silicon bring-up and through CS(Commercial Samples). In this leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects in post-silicon domain, communicating with chipset teams and senior level management team, while improving our post-silicon validation and test methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of expertise with excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work and coordinate with multiple teams.
Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of industry experience in post-silicon, integrated circuit design, RTL design and/or verification. Candidates are expected to have experience in one or more of below skills:
Post-Si debug of mixed-signal IP
Post-silicon enablement and validation
GPU and SoC architectures
Product cycle in terms of architecture, micro-architecture, design, verification, physical implementation, silicon bring up, production characterization, and customer return support.
GPU APIs (Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenCL/Vulkan)
Understanding of power, performance and thermal
Understanding DFT methodologies
Strong communication and leadership skillsets
Familiarity with low power design and optimization
Experience in firmware development
Understanding of Verilog/System Verilog is a plus
Familiarity with ARM Coresight IP is desirable
Familiarity with DFT/DFD
Education Requirements Required: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Doctorate, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
