Job Overview The graphics system team is looking for talented software engineers interested in developing software for next generation graphics processor. The system software team is responsible for delivering device drivers and tools for prototyping, exploration and verification of new features and proposals for next generation graphics processor. As a system software engineer, you will work closely with architect, system, hardware, verification, silicon team through the development lifecycle of graphics processor. This role will require you to cultivate a deep understanding of Qualcomm Adreno hardware architecture and graphics APIs. You will extensively use your knowledge of graphics, algorithm, computer architecture and operating system to provide solutions to validate next generation Adreno effectively. A successful candidate will be exposed to Vulkan, OpenGL and OpenGL ES, Direct3D11/12 and OpenCL.

Minimum Qualifications Industry exp. in below is required:
C/C++ programming skills
Problem solving and debugging skills
Graphics API - Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenCL/Vulkan API
Device driver experience
Familiar with real-time computing graphics technology
Working experience on large scale system software
Comfortable to work close to the hardware
Motivated engineer and willing to take initiative and operate with minimum guidance
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
