Job Overview The sourcing role is responsible for the development of procurement strategies, and direction of the day-to-day execution of such strategies. The scope of this role incorporates the working with Engineering and BU to develop cost effective supply lines that supports our diverse technology roadmaps through business model optimizations and negotiation while maintaining supplier relationships.

The Foundry Sourcing Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Foundry interactions and negotiations including pricing, business models, capacity, technology, yield and other operational and supplier management aspects

  • Enable strategic supplier selection working with engineering teams to support next generation technology roadmap analyzing key figures of merit on both technology and business aspects.

  • Define and align on sourcing strategies to support BU needs taking into account multiple variables and scenarios on demand and supply and help execute on the sourcing plans.

  • Support BU with cost modeling and product cost projections for new product selection decisions and maintain and manage product costs to help with financial analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a semiconductor, fabless/foundry environment, including key experience interacting with product, technology and engineering teams

  • Foundry experience required

  • Risk management experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated history of productive and successful interactions with a wide variety of internal stakeholders (technology, engineering, procurement, finance, costing, supply chain)

  • Program management skills

  • Managerial experience a benefit

  • Track record of delivering results in a cross functional environment is required.

  • Strong interpersonal/communications/presentation/negotiation skills

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering and/or Industrial & Prod Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering and/or Industrial & Prod Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering
