Job Overview QCES is looking for an embedded Sr. software engineer with proven track record in the embedded Software development. Will be part of a team of developers, with expertise in low-level device driver software and HW/SW interfaces. This team has the responsibility to validate HW/SW interfaces for the commercialization projects from across the company to delivery products externally and internally to customers. Proficient in C, JTAG based hardware debugger (preferably Lauterbach usage) knowledge Very good understanding of ARMv7 and ARMv8 architectures. Application level development skills are also useful in the position. The individuals needs to know how to utilize off-target development and debugging platforms in-addition to on target development. Strong familiarity and understanding of Operating System internals, Linux Internals very useful. The candidate will work with minimal supervision. Perform task definition and work breakdown including time estimation. Create, document and execute detailed test plans. Work Closely with hardware design Engineers to successfully drive projects to completion.

Minimum Qualifications 6+ years of academic or professional experience in the following areas is required:
- Knowledge/experience using SW version control, ARM compiler, ARM architecture, and schematics.
Experience in Linux device drivers (developemnt/Test/Debug)
Experience with I/O busses such as SPI, I2C
Experience with FPGA systems
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
