Job Overview We are currently seeking a digital design engineer to support QCTs mobile platforms. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Chip feature specification and RTL design

  • Verify designs with industry standard tools and methods

  • Carry out full ASIC front end flow: Lint, CDC, Synthesis, RTL simulation, formal verification, STA

  • FPGA emulation, lab validation and debugging.

  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines: Systems, Software, Verification, Production Test, Physical Design, Analog

Minimum Qualifications BSEE and 3+ years industry experience in the following areas:

  • ASIC front end development (Verilog, VHDL, Simulation, Synthesis, Lint, STA)

  • Common interfaces: AHB, AMBA, SPI, I2C, UART, USB

  • Processors, Memories, Bus structures

  • Design languages: Verilog, VHDL, Perl, TCL, C, System Verilog

Preferred Qualifications Additional experience/skills considered a plus:

  • Audio processing background

  • Exposure to DFT (MBIST, SCAN, JTAG)

  • FPGA development and debug in a lab setting

  • Software development experience

  • DSP Experience: Filter design, digital arithmetic, DAC, ADC, Interpolation, Decimation

  • Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking

  • Clear written and oral communication

  • Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
