Job Overview Responsibilities include the following:

  • Triaging, Debugging software failures reported by Customers on Android, Autograde Linux, QNX,Hypervisor software stack

  • Documenting application notes for Customers on key features, design

  • Optimize, Measure, Verify KPI benchmarks for Automotive features

  • Identifying, verifying and delivering fixes for the software failures

  • Working closely with technology teams to support the fix process

  • Supporting teams outside the Android/AGL/QNX team on all dependencies

  • Supporting Qualcomm customers when required to resolve launch-gating issues.

  • Work hand in hand with Product, Program Management, Technology teams for smooth commercialization

Minimum Qualifications 3 to 10 years of industry experience in the following:

  • Linux and Android

  • Debugging complex embedded software systems

  • C/C++/Java

  • Android and/or Qualcomm MSM software platforms

  • Git and build systems (like Android, Portage, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Multimedia sub systems like Camera, Graphics, Display, Audio, Video

  • Experience in bootloaders, Linux kernel and driver architecture

  • Experience in Multimedia Frameworks, OpenGL, OpenMax

  • Strong ability to solve problems in a non-linear fashion

  • Strong background in Computer Science and fundamentals of debugging embedded, application software

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
