Based in our Sophia Antipolis design center of 40+ engineers, he/she will have responsibilities for micro-acoustic- and EM design of RFFE components, optimization, product development, characterization of product performance, documentation/presentation and release to production.

The candidate is expected to work on advanced technologies (BAW, SAW, laminate) as well as challenging new or future technologies in the field of very-front-end wideband multiplexers/filters for 5th generation mobile telephone systems.

Fulfilling these responsibilities will involve collaboration with various teams located worldwide: R&D partners, designers, process development and manufacturing teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Good understanding of electronics engineering fundamentals, RF circuits, EM design.

  • Passion to learn new technologies and willing to accept challenges.

  • Understanding of key technical specifications and ability to propose meaningful trade-offs.

  • Ability to structure complex tasks and good problem solving skills.

  • Self-driven, able to take initiative and responsibilities, offer solutions to overcome technical challenges.

  • Flexible, co-operative, motivated, organized effectively.

  • Experience in delivering technical presentations to different technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with RF components such as WiFi and cellular filters.

  • High skill level on EM design.

  • Design experience with micro-acoustic technologies like SAW or BAW.

  • Experience developing products from first topologies until production release.

  • Good connections with the research community and ability to identify interesting ideas among published papers.

Education Requirements Engineering (Master) degree or higher qualification like Ph.D. in electronics or physics.
