Job Overview The Staff SharePoint Systems Administrator will work on multiple farms including SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016 and Office365.

This person will coordinate with the global SharePoint Development, Analyst and Infrastructure teams to implement new solutions, implement patches and build/upgrade environments.

Responsibilities include:

Effectively administer large, highly customized Microsoft SharePoint on premise and cloud enterprise systems

Possess strong knowledge of Windows Server, IIS and SharePoint

Demonstrate good understanding of DNS, AD, Kerberos, SMTP and LDAP

Collaborates with stakeholders and domain / technology administrators to identify, plan, and schedule key maintenance events

Evaluates and recommends tools for maintenance and monitoring of IT solutions

Documents operational processes (e.g., change management, replication, backup, and recovery)

Understand and execute using defined processes Implementation and Optimization

Contributes to the development of effective processes, procedures and technologies

Strong understanding of deployment and release pipelines

Minimum Qualifications 5+ years experience of system administration of the Microsoft Windows environment

4+ years SharePoint 2010 & 2013 including:

o Experience supporting a 24x7 high-availability production environment

o Experience with PowerShell Scripting

o Experience with externally-facing SharePoint collaborations sites

Experience working with a multi-national team of Sys Admins, Developers and Analysts

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate issues effectively

Ability to work independently and to multitask effectively

Preferred Qualifications Hybrid/Cloud configuration of SharePoint and Office365

AWS experience

Azure experience

Configuration management experience (DSC)

Experience with multiple Monitoring Tools including eHealth, Sitescope and SCOM

Experience with SCRUM methodology

Experience with JIRA application

Installation and configuration experience with third party tools like Sharegate, Next Labs, Muhimbi

Education Requirements Preferred: Master's, Information Technology or equivalent experience
