Job Overview As a member of QCT's Test Base Station group, candidate will be responsible for supporting protocols/features, in LTE area. LTE Job responsibilities include system level feature understanding, issue log analysis, troubleshooting/analyzing problems, collaborating with multiple internal teams across protocol stack in the process of supporting Internal Modem Software Test engineers with product commercialization. Candidate will work closely with Modem Software Test engineers to perform test and resolve functional and system stability issues. Candidate may also need to support new feature bring up in LTE by working closely with UE modem development\test team. Candidate will be working with a multi-discipline team (Software Development, System Design, Customer Support, System Test etc.) to debug and resolve issues.
Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in LTE Customer Engineering/Testing in one or more of the following areas: Solid understanding of digital communications systems, RF propagation, telecommunications concepts, Understanding of Physical/RLC/MAC/RRC/NAS layers and Call Processing in LTE. Candidate should be familiar with Linux operating system.
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications *Good Academic Background *Successful candidate must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player, and be able to work independently. Programming skills in C\C++, Python, shell are desirable.
