Job Overview QCT Tools/Process Architecture team is looking for full-time engineers to develop and maintain cutting edge Engineering and Business applications. Candidates will be responsible for architecture, design, development and testing of applications. These are 3-tiered with client, business logic and database layers. Tools are expected to be used broadly by both Engineering and Business users, to manage the product and feature planning activities. In this role you will design, implement and test 3-tiered applications.
Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in the following areas is required:
Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) and Agile development methodologies
Designing web/tooling User Interface design for complex multi-layer data management system
C# or any other .NET language
Web development (HTML 5, ASP.NET , D3 or PHP)
Distributed technologies (REST Web services, etc.,)
SQL Server and/or Oracle Database
Preferred Qualifications Preferred skills include:
Familiarity with principles, process and tooling for requirements management, project management, and resource management
Customizing/extending existing 3rd party SW applications for (e.g. Focal Point, Workfront, Tempus RM)
Big data management and data analysis skills (Qlikview, Splunk, Tableau)
Machine learning for data analytics and future prediction is a plus
Cloud application development technology such as Amazon Web Services is a plus
Ability to effectively understand and verify business/technical requirements and estimate projects
Good problem solving skills, analytical skills, attention to details and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and with a team in a diverse, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, and be able to multi-task efficiently.
Customer support experience and strong communication skills is also a plus
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
