Job Overview Takes lead in commercialization of the key PLC and WiFi Range Extender products.

Technical product owner of the releases responsible of driving all technology areas to deliver world class HomePlug Powerline communication, Automotive and GreenPHY powerline devices

Technology and commercialization interface with product management and engineering teams

Takes ownership to lead the program from start to the post launch in the field.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum 5-10 yrs in SW Engineering life cycle.

Minimum 3-5 yrs in SW engineering roles that covers SW development and test.

Strong technology focus and experience in networking technology areas that include WLAN, Ethernet, Bridging and Routing.

Experience in networking (L2 switching, IP forwarding, routing, NAT, firewall etc).

Strong understanding SW architecture and real time embedded system design with Linux Operating System

Experience in working with cross functional domain and platforms and standards/specs.

Decisive and ability to quickly identify problems & make decisions to solve them.

Strong programming skills in C in Linux with expert knowledge in multiple computer science disciplines

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Must be a go-getter and should be able to work in an aggressive, high pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications Experience in home networking technologies and equipment (including CPEs and Wireless Access Points) is a plus

Working with cross geo teams in US and China

Customer interactions and Product Marketing interfacing experience

Experience working with ARMs / MIPS processor

Published Tech and/or white papers in reputed journals.

Education Requirements Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred with proven success in a challenging academic program
