Job Overview The Program Analyst Specialist plays a key role in the Program Management of Qualcomms Chip Products, working in the PMO team alongside our Program Managers.

The Program Analyst Specialist is responsible for support of our program planning and resource management tools and databases including future improvements. This is also involves providing applications support to internal users and report generation to executive teams, ensuring accurate, consistent data.

We make decisions that are data-driven it is crucial that PMO generated data is accurate, clear and consistent. A person with an eye for detail, inquisitive and the ability to look across a wide range of data would make for the ideal candidate. The role also involves providing wide-ranging support to our Program Managers.

Minimum Qualifications Key Responsibilities:

  • Duties include becoming an expert user and training new staff on methodology, setup and usage of various PMO tools, plus to provide application support to existing users

  • Ensure accurate, clear and consistent data across our automatically generated reports and Sharepoint sites.

  • Manage the PMO organizational process assets such as Risk Registers and Lessons Learned

  • Innovation in the area of program management metrics to drive process improvements

  • Ensure change control, development reviews, and other product development processes are effectively implemented along with collation and preparation of required documentation

  • Roll-up and reporting regularly to senior management on key product development milestones, metrics, risks, risk mitigation plans, staffing status and escalations where necessary and appropriate

  • Take active role in innovating and employing continuous improvement of the current program management metrics and processes.

  • Must have strong Microsoft Office applications experience.Role Dimensions:

Preferred Qualifications Experience:

  • MS Excel highly proficient (knowledge of data manipulation/functions, & macros highly desirable)

  • Prior experience of Analyst role desired

Education Requirements Degree level qualification mandatory engineering (or related discipline) preferred
