Job Overview - Working with key stakeholders to define the technical business requirements for the project.

  • Responsible for defining and translating project planning into real timed deliverables, factoring in contingencies and potential risks. Exercise best judgement to minimise risk to solutions to decide what, when and how the plan is delivered.

  • Identify and manage project resources and resolve any issues. Actively managing and directing individual project components. Organising team inputs, influencing and motivating key individuals and project teams guiding and ensuring project momentum is maintained to ensure deliverables are achieved.

  • Ensure the project is developed and delivered within the budget. Minimise risk and issues and identify possible solutions and problem solve.

  • Manage multiple projects small or large, globally, in region or on site. Ensuring inter dependencies are met successfully with big picture view.

  • Arbitrate between key stakeholders ensuring all parties are presented and in agreement with decision making process.

  • Manage external relationships with consultants and contractors working on the relevant projects.

  • Coordinating post project reviews, analysis of what improvements could be made to enhance and benefit the process for the future projects and recording and documenting for future reference.

  • Deliver all projects inline with internal processes, applications and framework.

  • Be flexible beyond a project management methodology to drive initiatives to completion and partner with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver value.

Minimum Qualifications - Project management methodology such as Prince 2 or PMP

  • Stakeholder management, including issue resolution and managing expectations

  • Build and sustain credibility with relevant Project sponsors

  • Previous experience of running successful IT projects

  • Ability to understand and apply standard programme/project management practices and techniques

  • Highly methodical in nature, good attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Ability to influence teams not under direct control

  • Decision-making skills with a focus on problem identification, solution recommendation and implementation

  • Enthusiastic with the tenacity to overcome all potential barriers to operate and deliver under adverse conditions

  • Comfortable speaking with internal and external customers at all level

  • Able to negotiate, influence and deal with conflict resolution

  • Able to seek opportunities and add value.

  • Team player with ability to work under own initiative and drive projects forward

Preferred Qualifications - Experience of delivering IT Projects in a multi site company.

  • Experience of Infrastructure, Application, ERP and Business Change Projects.
